One of the things I can't live without is exercise! I need to do it nearly every day, to keep myself sane:)
So, I thought I'd dedicate one of these pages to exercise-related things, even though this is technically a middle school math blog. This is where the (and more!) part comes in I guess!
Short thought for today - my favorite running song this morning was "Dancing Nancies" by Dave Matthews Band. I just "redid" my iPod last night, and this is a song I had not had on it. I've only listened to "DN" in the car, on CD, so haven't experienced it when running before.
Part of today's workout was 2 minutes walking, 2 minutes jogging, and 1 minute sprinting (5 times). When this song started, I was at the beginning of the walking, and by the time I reached the sprinting, I was at my favorite, climactic part of the song. It was perfect!

I haven't added anything to this page in a while! I've been mixing up my workouts a bit, to "confuse" my muscles a little. Last night I did a Jillian Michaels "Ripped in 30" workout and then went on the elliptical. Today I used the treadmill and upped the elevation for a greater challenge as I jogged. I also did my intervals of 2 minutes walking, 2 jogging, and 1 sprinting 4 times (hadn't done this in a while...kind of forgot about it!). I walked for the rest of the hour. I find that I really need to do close to an hour of exercise these days. I like the Jillian Michaels DVDs, but I often feel that I need a longer period of cardio than they provide. Anyway, happy workouts to you all!

I'm always looking for new running songs! Thank you!
